Venus Serena Williams Wimbledon Odds

The Venus Serena Williams Wimbledon odds for this years Wimbledon are showing us that another all Williams final is looking highly likely. Both sisters have made excellent progress so far through the tournament and all the major bookies are expecting another Serena Venus final.

Venus is of course a five times champion and is hoping to continue her dominance at SW19 by making it No.6 in 2009. Paddy Power are offering 11/10 on an all Williams final come Saturday and that looks difficult to bet against at this stage. Venus and Serena have been over powering all their opponents so far and it is difficult to see either being beaten before the final.

It is Serena Williams that is the outright favourite to win the tournament despite only having two Wimbledon titles to her name to her sisters five. Serena has been in better form in 2009 and the bookies believe it will be the younger sister that prevails this time. Serena Williams is currently priced at 13/8 with Boylesports to win Wimbledon.

The last time the two sisters met in the final was of course last year when Venus won in two hard fought sets. It does appear that Venus has the greater movement on the grass courts which has given her the edge in previous years. However, it looks like Serena has been working hard this year and has been once again climbing the rankings so we take Serena to win her 3rd Wimbledon crown this year.
