British Grand Prix Odds

The British Grand Prix odds for this weeks, Grand Prix betting race has the two Ferrari drivers as favourites. Indeed Kimi Raikkonen is very short at 11/10, while team mate, Felipe Massa is 5/2. Raikkonen you will remember won last year after taking the lead after the first set of pit stops; he finished ahead of Fernando Alonso, with Lewis Hamilton making up the podium. Hamilton is at 9/2 at present but it is widely thought that these odds will shorten once official qualifying has started. Hamilton should completely re-focus his attention and worry more about the race than the qualifying. It is all well and good finishing on the front row of the grid only to lose it after a pit stop. He would also do well not to ‘lock horns' with the media, he should be well schooled in the fact that the British media love to elevate and then knock back its own sportsmen and Lewis is in danger of becoming the latest media fall guy. He has the talent to be the best driver in the world, he has proved that on occasions and this week's race offers him a tremendous chance to redeem himself. That said, he is still unlikely to win, the course is tailor made for the Ferrari's and Hamilton will do well to repeat his 3rd place form last year. If he manages to do that he will have closed the gap once more at the top of the Drivers Championship, which is the most exciting it has been in many years. Odds are 11/10 Raikkonen, 5/2 Massa, 92 Hamilton, 16/1 Kubica, 200/1 Bar. Interesting 16/1 odds about Kubica, he is currently driving out of his skin and is in second place in the Championship. That may be worth taking, even at each way.
