Las Vegas Darts Desert Classic Odds
The Las Vegas Darts Desert Classic Odds has World Number One, Phil Taylor as odds on favourite, despite a field of 200. Taylor, who had a fantastic winning streak earlier this year that culminated in a final win over James Wade in the recent Premier Darts League final, was surprisingly beaten in the quarter finals of UK Open by great rival Raymond Van Barnevald. Much to the annoyance of his fans, Van Barnevald then managed to lose his semi final to American Gary Mawson. The UK Open was eventually won by James Wade, who starts the Vegas Classic as 2nd favourite at 5/1 and according to the Bookmakers, only Taylor, Van Barnevald and Wade can win this week. Wade, who has also had a good time of it in 2008, beat Mawson in the final of the UK and thus claimed his third major darts trophy of the season; on that showing must be in with a great chance to shake up the great Taylor.

Taylor has been working very hard this year on improving his fitness and he will be eager to get back to winning ways as soon as possible., but at 4/6 he is not very attractively priced. Van Barnevald, who without any doubt has the best record against Taylor over recent years is priced at 8/1 to win here and they look like odds that might be attractive enough to take advantage of, even if it is just on an each way basis. Taylor has won the warm up event for the Desert Classic, when winning the Las Vegas Players Championship by 3-1 over Ronnie Baxter.Other odds to consider are: 22/1 John Part, 25/1 Adrian Lewis, 28/1 Andy Hamilton, 28/1 Colin Lloyd.
