The colt has been working tremendously well at home, so much so, that stable jockey, Johnny Murtagh, has plumped to ride him, rather than any of the other two stable representatives. Murtagh who rode Washington Irving at Epsom, believes that Alessandro Volta has the beating of him and furthermore he believes the Curragh track will suit. Colm O’Donoghue now gets the ride on Washington Irving, while Seamus Heffernan will ride Dante runner-up, Frozen Fire.
