The Lewis Hamilton French Grand Prix odds show him as an 11/1 shot for this weeks race. Despite being ten rows back, Lewis remains bullish regarding his chances in the French Grand Prix at the Circuit de Nevers this week. The penalty incurred after Hamilton’s mishap in the pit lane during the Canadian Prix a couple of weeks ago leaves him well behind his championship rivals on the grid but he still believes he can win the race. Lewis, who was third here last year after qualifying in second place, says he likes the French track due to its challenging nature. He confirmed that his car has improved enormously in the technical department and is much better equipped this year than last for the race. It will be much quicker and that will suit him, fans can expect some very exciting stuff from the British driver this weekend. He is determined not to lose anymore ground in the drivers championship after seeing his lead in the drivers championship disappear to the totally unexpected Robert Kubica of the BMW team.

Kubica who won the Canadian Grand Prix to record his first F1 win is already being talked up as the best driver on the Grand Prix circuit this year and he will be head hunted by Ferrari for next season. Meanwhile the Canadian victory has had a tremendous affect on the BMW team. Their spirits are soaring and they fully expect to be challenging again this week.
