Runner-up Takeover Target has been clipped to 5/1 (from 6) whilst Marchand D'Or has been shortened to 5/1 (from 7). In the King Stand on the first day Takeover Target was only beaten half a length in the 5f King's Stand and will prefer Saturday's additional furlong. Marchand D'Or beat Equiano by a neck in the Group 2 Prix du Gros-Chene at Chantilly last time and with the form franked we have taken evasive action. Before today the challenge in the sprinting division looked to be coming from Australia; perhaps the danger is nearer to home.
