Ascot Queen Ann Stakes Tip
The Ascot Queen Ann Stakes tip is Haradasun. The odds see Tariq, Sageburg and Haradasun vying for favouritism in what could be a great opener for the Royal Ascot meeting. The market is very close indeed and should lead to a very open race. The race that was first run in 1840 as the Trial Stakes had its name changed in 1930 to the Queen Ann, who was the monarch responsible for establishing racing at Ascot back in 1711. It is run over 1 mile and it was upgraded to Group 1 Status in 2003, after being a Group 3 for the 20 years or so previously.

Last year it was the Godolphin Stable that took the honours with Ramonti that got jockey, Frankie Dettori off to a great start. Unfortunately, Creachador, their much fancied entry for the race this year will not run due to a leg fracture and should leave the field open to the hugely talented Australian horse Haradasun. He was tipped and backed to win the Lockinge earlier this year, but only managed 6th spot behind Creachador. However he has come on lots under the Aiden O’Brien tutelage and the stable are very pleased with him. His odds of around 9/2 are quite generous as he likely to go in a point by race time. His main danger may come from the supplemented Sageburg. This Aga Khan horse is trained in France and in his last race got the better of stable mate and much fancied Darjina. They renew stable rivalry today. Odds currently are 9/2 Haradasun, 9/2 Sageburg, 9/2 Tariq, 5/1 Cesare, 6/1 Darjina.
