Adored Oaks Odds

The Adored Oaks Odds moved significantly today when it was announced that stable jockey, Johnny Murtagh, decided to ride her as opposed to Sail for the Ballydoyle stable.

The Aiden O’Brien filly is believed to prefer softer going which will be on offer at Epsom this week and Adored seems ready to take advantage.

Murtagh was on board the filly when winning the Group 3 Blue Wind Stakes at Naas last month and was seriously impressed. He said “she is a big strong galloping filly with a lot of class”. He believes she will come on again for that run and she is the pick of the Oaks entrants from the Yard. In that race she made all and finished a good length ahead of another Ballydoyle Oaks entrant, Tiffany Diamond.

Her odds have come in from 16/1 to 10/1 and is likely to get shorter nearer race time. >

Oaks betting sees Lush lashes maintain her favouritism at 3/1, while Chinese White, who is also likely to suit the soft ground, has come in one point from 5/1 to 4/1. Money has also been laid on Clowance after the news that Frankie Dettori now rides in preference to Steve Drown., she is currently an 8/1 shot
