Next Blackburn Rovers Manager Odds
The next Blackburn Rovers Manager odds have Sam Allardyce as favourite. Allardyce has emerged as favourite to take over from Mark Hughes as Blackburn Rovers Manager.
It looks certain that mark Hughes will be leaving the club for either Chelsea or Man City and the vacuum at Rovers will be filled by ‘big Sam’. He seems a natural choice, although his appointment will not go down too well with local rivals, Bolton, who Sam left of course to take on the ill-fated job at Newcastle. Others who may be in the running are former England and Middlesborough boss, Steve McLaren and ex Blackburn boss, Graham Souness.
Whoever takes on the role, Hughes will be a hard act to follow. He has done remarkably well with Blackburn and has secured their place in the top ten of the Premier League. He admits that he has taken them as far as the club budget will allow. Allardyce is no stranger to success himself though, he did equally as well at Bolton as Hughes has done at Blackburn and he clearly loves having ‘hands on involvement in football. His dismal time at Newcastle last year was not all his own doing; he was not given a long run at a club who have a very inpatient fan base. He will certainly want to redeem his reputation as soon as possible and must be relishing the opportunity to take over from Hughes. We also understand that he has cut his holiday short to retun to Lancashire, this is a good indicator and make his odds of 4/1of taking over, very attractive!.
Odds 4/1 Allardyce, 11/2 McLaren, 8/1 Avram Grant, 9/1 Souness, 10/1 Kenny Dalglish.
