The Mark Hughes Chelsea Manager odds were once again changing yesterday and are likely to do so again today, particularly with the speculation that Blackburn Rover’s Manager, Mark Hughes is in dialogue with the club. This comes in the wake of the news that Hughes was in contractual talks with Manchester City and certainly at one point yesterday he was 1/5 favourite to take over at the City of Manchester Stadium.

That may all be changing now as Hughes as emerged as front runner for the Chelsea job and given the choice of both, surely Hughes would plump for the Londoners.

Chelsea had given notice at the weekend that they would have an appointment made by 2 June, but that never happened and speculation now continues in the belief that Hughes is one of two names left in the hat for the job.

It has certainly become a merry go round and Bookmakers must be fed up of having to re-write their odds. It seems the situation changes every hour and the outcome remains uncertain. Sky Sports reported that they understood that if Hughes did not get the Chelsea job then he would definitely take over at City.
