Roger Federer Odds
Roger Federer odds are 9/4 against him to secure the one major title that has so far eluded him, the French Open. In every other tennis arena he has been nigh-on unbeatable in recent years; winning 12 grand slam titles including 5 consecutive Wimbledons. Among his numerous other records, he has been ranked World No.1 for 222 consecutive weeks and has the most consecutive US Open titles (4) in the Open era.

He is playing superbly well at the French Open so far and his only tough obstacle on the way to the final it seems will be against number 5 seed David Ferrer, who he is scheduled to meet in the semi-finals.
Assuming he defeats Ferrer and makes it to the final he is likely to face his nemesis, Rafael Nadal, who has never been beaten at the French Open, winning the Title for the last three years. Nadal is odds on to win again this year, but before making the final he has to overcome the tough Serb and World number three, Novak Djokovic in the semi’s. The last time Nadal met Djokovic on clay, was last month, wher Nadal won by two sets to one, in a match that many plaudits thought Djokovic should have won. Whatever the result this time the match is sure to be a fierce encounter and may take quite a lot out of whoever wins. This is all good news for Federer fans and as long as they can keep their belief and he continues to play well, he just may be worth backing.
