The French Open Tennis Womens odds for this week’s French Open Tennis Championship, sees Serena Williams as favourite. This is somewhat of a surprise as Serena is only the fifth seed at the event that she won in 2002 and was runner up in 2004. Top seed, Maria Sharapova is an 11/2 shot, who’s best performance in the Tournament was her semi final place last year.
The odds have been upset of course, with the premature retirement of last year’s winner, Justine Henin, but the good news for tennis fans is that the Tournament is now quite open and a number of the ladies have a great chance of winning.

Last year’s runner up, Ana Ivanovic, must have a great chance, she can be backed at 7/1 to go one better this year and she is in good form. She was runner up too in the Australian Open earlier this year and she is seeded second here. Her Serbian compatriot, the third seed, Jelena Jankovic, has a great chance too. She was a semi finalist last year and many people think she is overdue a Grand Slam Title. She can be backed at around 5/1. Consideration should also be given to Russian, Svetalana Kuznetsova, who was a finalist here two years ago and who won the US Open in 205. She is a well priced at 12/1.
Obviously the odds will change as each match starts and finishes, but the best odds will always be available at the start, so if you have a fancy for the Title, then use the links on this page now and take advantage of a Free bet.
