Monaco Grand Prix Odds
The Monaco Grand Prix odds for this Sunday's Monaco Grand Prix, have Lewis Hamilton as second favopurite to win After finishing second to McLaren team mate Fernando Alonso last year, Hamilton let it be known that he was a bit miffed not to have won the race. It was the first sign of tension between him and Alonso, that eventually resulted in Alonso moving to Renault. Hamilton was and still is determined to win this Grand prix and he will be trying very hard to do so this weekend.
There may therefore be a renewal of their tensions this week as the Monaco Grand Prix gets underway once again. Alonso is bullish about his chances and believes he can take the race, provided his practices go well. He really has to get on the front row, or even on pole position, as the Monaco Grand Prix is the hardest overtaking venue on the F1 Circuit. Alonso is the type of driver that if he gets on pole then he could win and he obviously thinks he can do that this week.
Hamilton and every other driver will be thinking the same thing of course, so it’s worth checking the odds on who is most likely to win the race. Bookies have World Champion, Kimi Raikonnen as a very narrow 2/1 favourite, just ahead of the 9/4 offered on Hamilton. Alonso is a 12/1 shot which may well be a good each way price.

Qualifying is all important at Monaco, Pole position, good race tactics and an unblemished drive, should give you the chequered flag, so Saturday’s qualifying day is almost as exciting as the race.
