Musidora Odds
The Musidora Odds for this Musidora Stakes three year old filly race iat York this week has attracted three of the top five favourites for the Juddmont Oaks. This will make the race a top class affair. The result of this will provide Bookmakers and Trainers alike answers to any doubts they have and will also provide an opportunity to get a better idea of what filly is a viable Oaks contender for the Classic next month.
Based on his recent Group success’s Aiden O’Brien’s filly, Moonstone, running for the first time this season should start as narrow favourite from Dar Re Mi. John Gosden, who trains Dar Re Mi was pleased with her reappearance at Sandown, where she quickened impressively in the last two furlongs and won easy by 7 lengths in a 10 furlong race. Gosden said she will come on for the race. The Bookmakers were equally impressed and installed her as Oaks Favourite. A big run can be expected and she should she come on strong for her earlier run.
The other leading Oaks fancy who runs here is Cape Amber. She was an impressive 2 year old who will be making her season reappearance.
Jim Bolger, so unlucky with New Approach in the 2000 Guineas, will be running Lush Lashes, who was sixth and only 2 lengths behind the flying French filly Natagora in the 1000 Guineas.
