Rangers v Zenit Odds
The Rangers v Zenit odds in the Ranger Zenit St Peterberg Eufa Cup final have Zenit St Petersberg as hot favourites to beat Rangers. The final is being played at Eastlands, home of Manchester City. Most Bookmakers have the Russian side at around 4/7 to defeat Rangers in a game that should be full of incident.

To some extent the odds are questionable. Rangers have a huge advantage by having easy access to Manchester and one bet that is absolutely certain is that the M6 Southbound will be very busy on Wednesday afternoon with thousands of Rangers fans making the trip to Manchester. Zenit fans will be there in abundance too, but St Petersberg is a lot further away than Glasgow and their supporters will be massively outnumbered. Fans don’t win a match, that’s for sure, but they most certainly influence them!
The odds of 11/8 therefore against Rangers are not great but worth taking purely on a geographical basis. Rangers are extremely hard to beat, ask Fiorentina and with their supporters and their resolve to not only win here but to win everything they are involved in, makes them a very difficult proposition.
Dick Advocaat, former Rangers Manager and now in charge of their opponents will be the most interesting character at the match. It is known he is delighted for Rangers to be doing so well but being the professional he is; he will be all out to plot their downfall. He has said that he knows how Rangers play and they know how Zenit play and the game “should be very close.”
Under Advocaat, Zenit have flourished and there presence in a major European Soccer final for the first time is a great achievement, particularly as they have beaten Everton and Bayern Munich on the way.
