Eurovision Odds - Norway Looking Good
The Eurovision odds show that Norway are the big favourites for this years contest which is to be held in Moscow at the weekend. This years contest will feature a revamped points system aimed at ridding the competition of political voting from the Balkan countries. The contest was in danger with other countries complaining about the system so it is hoped that 2009 will see a much more open chance for each country. Norway have not won the competition since 1995 but most believe the song Fairytale will end the drought. Norway are currently priced at 11/8 with Stan James to win the Eurovision Song Contest.

The UK has brought in the legendary Andrew Lloyd Webber who has written the music for this years entry. He has been dismayed at recent attempts so embarked on a TV talent show to find this years singer. Jade was chosen to sing Its My Time and the UK look to have a decent shout in 2009 after some dismal results in previous years. Now that jury voting has been re-introduced the UK stand a much better chance but bookmakers are still not holding their breath. The UK is currently available at 14/1 with Bet365 to win for the first time since 1997. Those odds have been shortening for the last couple of weeks with 12/1 available with some bookies.
