The Rangers Celtic Odds for the SPL are very much the same, with perhaps Rangers just the slightest of favourites. But are the odds stacked against them? They have failed to have their game against Dundee United postponed this weekend in order to be better prepared for their EUFA Cup final next week In Manchester, so may be forced to field an under-strength side. Their feelings were made worse when they learned that their Russian oppenents next week, Zenit St Petersburg, managed to have their weekend match postponed bny the Russian FA.

.Rangers draw against Hibs at the weekend further dented their hopes and now they are seven points behind their great rivals. They do of course have three games in hand, but with five games still to go, they will have a very difficult job to gain maximum points. Indeed if Celtic win their two remaining fixtures, then Rangers for certain will have to win them all.

Up until this moment Rangers have had a tremendous season, and could still claim four trophies, however, the task has become very difficult, and it would be tragic if there success becomes the cause for their failure.

Celtic are 6/5 to win the SPL and Rangers 11/10. Rangers were 1/7 just 2 weeks ago.
