The Chester Horse Racing tips for this weeks 3 day meeting is really pretty obvious. In the Short races run over 5 and 6 furlongs make sure you back horses that are drawn low. Bookmakers are onto this draw bias and as such horses drawn 1 to 3 will shortened odds to compensate no matter what their form is coming into the race. In the longer distance races make sure you back horses that like running up with the pace and front runners also do very well at the Chester track. When looking at previous form if they have Chester form then this is something to follow also.

Another Chester tip is to consider Barry Hills horses as he has a great record at the track and you should give a second look to all his entries. One horse that we like is the Soldier Of Fortune in the Thornton Huxley Stakes and he will be looking to win his forth consecutive race and this Irish Derby winner has form on the course as well which is a major plus. With Aiden getting home Henrythenavigator in the 2000 Guineas he will be looking for a quick follow up in this race.

The Chester Cup looks very tough this year and we will be looking at something later in the week when we have a good idea of the final entries. Another important thing to take into account are the jockeys as you really need a thinking jockey to work out the tactics as this is no more important than at Chester.
