Frankie Dettori 2000 Guineas

The Frankie Dettori chances of winning the 2000 Guineas are increasing as his mount Ibn Khaldun has seen a good level of support in the build up to the race. New Approach is a red-hot 6/4 favourite with Bet365 for Saturday’s 2000 Guineas, but the picture for Sunday’s 1000 Guineas is more cloudy with three fillies, Infallible, Natagora and Muthabara, all vying for favouritism. Ravens Pass is a 4/1 chance, who ran a cracker when just touched off in the Craven Stakes last month by Twice Over who is trained by the master Henry Cecil and will miss the Guineas in favour of the Epsom Derby, but Raven's Pass must have the ground on the good side for him to produce his form in Satudays race. A large field is on the cards for the 1000 Guineas, but we’ve narrowed it down to the front three in the betting, with preference for Natagora 10/3. She has speed as well as stamina and achieved a good deal more in France than her market rivals managed in their trials.
