World Snooker Odds
The World snooker odds for the World Championship turned decidedly, after Joe Perry, knocked out second favourite Stephen Maguire. Ronnie O'Sullivan has become virtually unbackable at 4/7, so punters are advised to look at better value from the other three still left in the Championship.
One of them of course is seven times Champion, Stephen Hendry, who plays O'Sulivan in the semi final. Hendry has been in great form and looked back to his very best when amongst the balls. He has a great record against O'Sullivan too and as he has said repeatedly, he knows how to win at the crucible.
O'Sullivan has looked good too, his 147 break against Mark Williams was simply fantastic, but he has had some poor sessions this year and he will not want to give Hendry any sort of head start. Hendry has a great record for staying in front and can be backed at 9/2 to win the Tournament for the eighth time.

Ali Carter, another who has made a superb 147 break this year, is up against the dogged Joe Perry, who's performance against Maguire in the quarter final was immense. Both Carter and Perry, who are in the semi final for the first time have had good season's, but their records against O'Sullivan and Hendry are not particularly good. However, as has been proven, time and time again, anyone can beat anyone else on the day in snooker. On that basis, their odds are excellent, considering one of them will make the final. Carter is around 5/1 and Perry around 6/1 to win the Tournament
