World Snooker Number 1 Odds Very Short For Championship

The World snooker odds for the World Championship turned decidedly, after Joe Perry, knocked out second favourite Stephen Maguire. Ronnie O'Sullivan has become virtually unbackable at 4/7, so punters are advised to look at better value from the other three still left in the Championship.

One of them of course is seven times Champion, Stephen Hendry, who plays O'Sulivan in the semi final. Hendry has been in great form and looked back to his very best when amongst the balls. He has a great record against O'Sullivan too and as he has said repeatedly, he knows how to win at the crucible.

O'Sullivan has looked good too, his 147 break against Mark Williams was simply fantastic, but he has had some poor sessions this year and he will not want to give Hendry any sort of head start.
