Punchestown Champion Hurdle Odds
The ACC Bank Punchestown Champion Hurdle odds on Friday has Sizing Europe as a short priced favourite, but the race has attracted a good competitive field. Sizing Europe, was the talk of Cheltenham before the Champion Hurdle last month and he went off a clear 2/1 favourite. His performance however was poor, almost coming to a stop up the hill at the finish. Trainer Henry de Bromhead believes his poor show was due to a muscle pull in his back but seems much happier with him now.
Another horse to look out for here is the Nicky Henderson trained Punjabi, who was third in the Champion Hurdle behind Katchit. After Cheltenham, Henderson body swerved Aintree, in order to have Punjabi fresh for this race, he comes to Punchestown with a very clear and obvious chance.

The fourth at Cheltenham, Sublimity also takes his chance and is favoured to reverse the Cheltenham placings with Punjabi. The old war horse Harchibald, will also run for trainer Noel Meade, there is no doubt that he is still highly capable and could upset the odds here.
Odds 7/4 Sizing Europe, 3/1 Sublimity, 5/1 Punjabi and 6/1 Harchibald.
