Scottish Grand National Runners Odds
The Scottish Grand National runners odds have 24 left in the race at the final declaration stage. The field is headed by Halcon Genelardais who is trained by Alan King and his horses are in top form at the moment. Alan King will also have joint favourite Old Benny in the race also. Old Benny would have a very good chance of winning on Saturday having won his last race at Cheltenham in the Peter O'Sullevan National Hunt Chase Challenge Cup. The winner of this race has great credentials of winning Grand Nationals with previous winners of this race Hot weld and Butlers Cabin going on to win the Scottish and Irish Grand Nationals.

The Scottish Grand National odds has Miko De Beauchene as the joint favourite to do the double by winning the Welsh and Scottish Nationals in the same year. Miko has to re oppose Helcon Genelardais on 5 pounds worse terms for a narrow victory in the Welsh National. This handicap has a very lob sided look to it with only a couple in the handicap proper, but the winner maybe one of those lurking lower down the handicap.
There are just 2 Irish entries in Patsy Hall trained by Tony Martin who has a very good chance in the race with the other Irish participant In The Loop trained by Roy Wilson. Len Lungo will be hoping to keep the cup in Scotland as he saddles Wild Cane Ridge, who has won his last 4 races at Ayr and while he has jumping difficulties could well run the top weights off their hooves.
