Infallible 1000 Guineas Odds

The Odds on Infallible winning the 100 Guineas were slashed on Wednesday following an impressive win from John Gosden's 3 year old filly in Newmarket's Group 3 Nell Gywn Stakes. Before the race, the odds on her winning the 1000 Guineas were as big as 16/1, however, an impressive four length victory was enough to make the bookmakers slash their odds with Ladbrokes offering the best price of 4/1 but others are as short as 7/2 about her landing the first classic of the year.

The bay filly was running for only the second time followinga winning debut, also at Newmarket's Rowley Mile last November. Her seasonal reappearance in the Nell Gwyn saw the Cheveley Park runner start slowly from the stalls before finding her feet to make headway two furlongs out, when jockey Jimmy Fortune asked her to go she moved clear easily and went on to win well. With more expected to come from this filly, she has a great chance of landing the 1000 Guineas.
