Scottish Grand National Tip

Our Scottish Grand National tip is our first horse racing tip since we had our great success in the Aintree Grand National where we got it right with Comply or Die. Now that we have put our credentials on the line we are under extreme pressure to come up with a winning selection for this year's Coral Scottish Grand National. Having taken a gook look at the race it is very obvious that there are a number of horses with great credentials. Due to the fact that there might only be 6 horses in the handicap proper it might be wise to consider those 6 for our Scottish Grand National tip, but it looks like three of these will probably not turn up.

The obvious ones in the handicap proper and likely to take their place in the line up include two old rivals in Miko De Beauchene and Halcon Genelardais who where locked in battle together in the Welsh National and both come here in good form. We however think they maybe over the top for the season and could be lumping around too much weight in the soft ground. For this reason we are looking elsewhere for our selection.

The one we like is Wild Cane Ridge at about 14/1. He has run in hurdles in the run up to this race in an attempt to keep his confidence in place for this day. He loves Ayr and has won his last four races at the track and we think he will go out in the leading group and try and win it from the front.
