Scottish Grand National Odds
The Scottish Grand National odds have Miko De Beauchene as the favourite to win this years 2008 Coral Scottish National. Miko trained by the Alners comes into the race having run a creditable second at the Cheltenham festival. Miko tried his hooves at hurdling at Cheltenham in the Pertemps Final as he was exploiting his good hurdle mark which is considerably better than his chase handicap and he ran a great race finishing second. He is a 7/1 chance to double up his Nationals wins this season having already won the Welsh National at Chepstow.

One of the horses he has to beat this weekend is the Alan King trained Halcon Genelardais who ran Miko very close in the Welsh National and is looking to turn the tables at Ayr. Halcon Genelardais is generally a 10/1 chance with the online bookmakers. Another of the leading fancies is the Irish trained Pasty Hall who comes from the Tony Martin stable. The bookies will be watching this one very closely in the run up to the event as if there is any money for it his price will collapse very quickly as they will take no chances with any horse coming out of this stable.
So, should you fancy getting on early you be well advised to take the 12/1 currently on offer.
