The US Masters odds for this weeks first Golf Major of the year sees Tiger as the 11/10 favourite with the UK bookmakers. It is amazing that one golfer could go off such a short price but his form over the last 6 months has been outstanding and you would not want to have looked to lay him on Betfair as you would have been doing your brains in as he has come up trumps 7 times out of his last 10 events. The only good thing about having one player so short in the market is that you can get great odds about the rest of the field, whether you would want to back any of them is another matter.

So this leaves us with a dilemma, back Tiger at short odds, lay Tiger at a short price neither of which makes much appeal or go with one of the others. So who could take advantage, should Tiger have a couple of indifferent rounds. Geoff Ogilvy comes into the event in top form having tied for second at the Houston Open which was the warm up event before the masters. His odds of 20/1 could be an interesting each way bet.

Then there is big Phil at 10/1 who is always capable of putting up a great show. How about last years British Open winner Padraig Harrington, who is a 25/1 chance. Our money is going on South African Ratief Goosen at 33/1 as he is now back to form and putting some puts away.
