The Bewleys Berry Grand National odds have remained pretty solid over the months building up the 2008 Grand National. Bewleys Berry was last seen out in the Red Square Vodka Gold Cup at Haydock in February where he was pulled up and was very disappointing. Bewleys Berry is around a 16/1 chance for the National and this represents value based on his good run in last year's race and his excellent run in this year's Bechers Chase over the National fences. In the Bechers he was held up off the pace, he challenged hard from the second-last and only just lost out in a driving finish, having pulled a long way clear of the rest.

One thing that Bewleys Berry does have to prove is that he can win over the National distance, but this could be said for many in the field. Up to recently he had been bit keen in his races but Howard Johnson seems to be getting him to settle which suggests he will have more chance of getting the trip in this year's race.
