Wales v France Six Nations Odds
Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium will be at full capacity on Saturday for the Wales v France Six Nations Grand Slam showdown for which Wales are the odds on favourites. After winning their previous four Six Nations matches during this year’s tournament, Warren Gatland’s Wales side head in to the final game as 8/15 favourites with Ladbrokes to beat France, a result which would see them win the Grand Slam for the first time since 2005.
Wales have looked impressive throughout the Six Nations and big away wins agaisnt England and Ireland saw them clinch the Triple Crown in Dublin last weekend and coach Gatland has made two changes from that side for their tilt at the Grand Slam. Huw Bennett replaces Matthew Rees as Hooker and James Hook replaces Stephen Jones at fly-half and. Hook played in the wins against England and Scotland before being dropped agaisnt Ireland, only to come of the bench and kick the crucial winning points.
France are no longer in contention to win the Grand Slam following defeat to England, however, they can still win the Championship if they beat Wales by 20 points or more. A task that the bookmakers deem unlikely offering odds of 8/1 that France can win the Six Nations for the third year running.
