FA Cup Semi Final Draw

The FA Cup Semi Final draw today is without the two favourites Man Utd and Chelsea following their quarter final defeats at the weekend. If the defeat of Man Utd to Portsmouth was not enough of a shock we were treated to one of the biggest shocks of the decade when Barnsley beat the holders Chelsea by a goal to nil and now have a date at Wembley for one of the semi-finals in April. This is what the FA Cup is all about on a chilly winter's afternoon the little boys took on the giants of the game and came out on top.

It is a shame that Sir Alex could not take this defeat gracefully but he had to blame the referee for not awarding his team a couple of penalties. The fact is the record shows that United are not in the semi final draw today and Redknapps lads are. Grant was at least graceful in accepting his defeat at Oakwell, but once again he had a go at the pitch, well it did not stop Barnsley scoring, so if a couple hundred million is not good enough to buy some players who can play on all types of pitches then that's tough Mr Grant.
