Exotic Dancer has not really produced this season, having played the bridesmaid to Kauto Star for the whole of last season. With his probable absence, the odds on a Paul Nicholls one, two, three grow ever more likely with the likes of Neptune Collonges and Star De Mohaison likely to take their place in the field.

Following the news that Exotic Dancer who was the 10/1 third favourite for the Cheltenham Gold Cup has suffered a setback VC Bet have removed Sir Robert Ogden’s horse from the betting. PR Manager Neal Wilkins commented “No one is going to back Exotic Dancer while there is this cloud over his participation and we thought it was prudent to remove him from the betting for the time being.”.
