Six Nations Odds
The Six Nations odds for this years 6 Nations betting tournament clearly favours France. While we all have the week off to reflect on the events of the last couple of weeks, France are riding high at the head of the market at odds of 8/15 on. Wales who also go into week 3 of the tournament with maximum points are second favourites at 100/3. For those who believe that Wales could cause an upset this year, you have to think that they can get the better of Ireland at Croke Park as should they go there and win then they would have a very good chance of winning the Six Nations and the Grand Slam.

Assuming Wales put away Italy in week 3 at Cardiff and beat Ireland at Croke Park, they then have a home tie against France. This is a new French team and they showed that they could be beaten in their home game against Ireland. They nearly gave up a winning position against the Irish suggesting that they are not invincible. It would be really good for this event if the Welsh could push France all the way this year.
It is fanciful to think that the Irish or the English could get into contention in the remaining three weeks. While Ireland should beat a very poor Scottish team they will find life difficult against Wales and England. England for their part are unlikely to beat France in Paris and even if they do so will not have an easy match against Ireland in their final game, even odds of 11/2 for England is not worth much consideration.
