Cloudy Lane Grand National Odds
The Cloudy Lane Grand National odds were cut on Saturday following his very impressive victory at Ayr on Saturday. Cloudy Lane was cut by online bookmaker Stan James for the John Smith's National which is on the first Saturday in April. Cloudy Lane is trained by the son of Ginger McCain the trainer of one of the best ever Grand National horses in Red Rum. Ginger retired as a trainer a couple of seasons ago and handed over the reigns to his son who is in a rich vein of form with his horses at the moment and they can now go to Aintree with full confidence.

Donald McCain's Cloudy Lane was a most impressive winner at Ayr and looks sure to go to Aintree one of the market leaders for a race which will always be associated with the McCain name and his price was slashed from 16/1 to 12/1. There had been doubts about his jumping but he showed that he is a good jumper on the better ground and he now goes to Aintree as a real contender for the big race of the year.
This would be a great feat should Donald manage to follow in his father's footsteps and win the Grand National.
