Chelsea were just to strong for Wigan and once again got home by a single goal. Anelka showed once again why he is such a class act, his great pace and anticipation saw him get ahead of the defence and poke the ball into the net to get his team ahead and they never looked back from there.
Arsenal bounced back from their midweek set back in the Carling Cup and beat Newcastle by three clear goals. This match highlighted what a tough job Keegan has at St James park and he has to go back to the Emirates in mid week which were sure he will not be looking forward to. The most interesting thing about the Saturday's results was that there were no draws.
