Throughout the post-season play offs, the Giants have shown great character to progress through three road games to reach Superbowl and despite it being a well used phrase in the media, Giants Quarter Back, Eli Manning, has certainly come of age in the past three games, but the Giants offensive line has been equally impressive as too have their defense.
Such spirit of the Giants team was evident during the NFC Championship game when they beat the Green Bay Packers in overtime. Tied at 20-20 after four quarters, Green Bay won the toss and were driving down the field before Giants cornerback Corey Webster intercepted a Brett Favre pass, which allowed the Giants to move the ball in to field goal range.
Giants kicker, Lawrence Tynes, had already missed two field goal attempts, including one in the last seconds of regular time so to step up in overtime and score the winning points from 47 yards showed great courage, something that the Giants are sure to take with them to Superbowl
