In the King George VI odds punters have today supported Alan King's former Champion Chase winner Voy Por Ustedes for the King George VI Chase on Boxing Day. Sponsors Stan James have cut last season's Melling Chase winner from 5/1 into 4/1 for the Kempton Park showpiece. Trainer King confirmed in a Racing Post interview that the race would be his mid-season target but he will find it tough up against Kauto Star who is also aimed at this race this season.

Voy Por Ustedes is due to reappear in the Old Roan Chase at Aintree on Sunday week where he is due to lock horns with last year's winner of the corresponding race Monet's Garden. Hat-trick seeking Kauto Star remains the 6/4 favourite for the King George VI with the sponsors. Kauto Star will be looking for a repeat of last years win where he made barely the semblance of an error in the race and travelled smoothly from the start, he went to the front easily five out and quickly pulled clear of Our Vic and Exotic Dancer.
