Champion trainer, Paul Nicholls is very keen on the chances of Twist Magic for this Saturday's Grade One Tingle Creek at Sandown. Winner of this race in 2007 on soft ground, Twist Magic comes into the race after making a stellar start to the season when coming an unexpected third at Exeter last month and has earned himself a quote of 9/4 with Paddy Power to give Nicholls his fifth straight win in the race and his seventh overall.
To win however, Twist Magic will have to overcome the very obvious talents of race favourite Big Zeb a very impressive winner of the Grade Two Fortria Chase at Navan last month. Big Zeb ran the brilliant Master Minded to a head in the Kerrygold Champion Chase at the end of last season and according to his trainer, Colm Murphy he has come on hugely since then. Big Zeb is a best price of 13/8 with bet365 but is likely to shorten as the race approaches and the ground as expected, dries.

Master Minded's absence from the race takes away very little from its appeal, particularly when, in addition to Big Zeb and Twist Magic, there are two other high quality runners in the five strong field. Those runners include the David Pipe trained Well Chief conqueror of Master Minded last time out in the Connaught Chase. This top rated ten year old looks back to his absolute best and there is plenty of stable confidence behind him ahead of the race. He is currently a best price of 10/3 with Paddy Power.
Also in the field is the winner of the 2009 Arkle Trophy Chase, Forpadydeplasterer whose claims must be respected, despite not appearing to be back to his Cheltenham winning form. Forpadydeplasterer is an 8/1 quote currently with Paddy Power, and if nothing else has outstanding each way claims.
