In form trainer Chris Wall will keep a close eye on the weather before declaring Sundae or Royal Rock take their chances at Ascot on Saturday. Wall has both of the in-form sprinters entered in the Porthault Shergar Cup Sprint but he on Tuesday said that underfoot conditions will determine whether they will take their line-up.

“Either Sundae or Royal Rock could run but I am bit concerned about the ground,” he said. “Neither of them wants it firm and it is all dependent on the ground.”
