Our Galway Festival tips for the Galway Races on this final day of this great festival go once again with the greatest Galway trainer of them all Dermot Weld. He saddles two in the feature race of the day, the Michael McNamara & Co Builders Dublin & Galway Handicap run over seven furlongs, Kingsdale Ocean and Thoughtless Moment. Pat Smullen has elected to go for Thoughtless Moment and that is our tip to win. Smullen knows the best horses and with his record at Galway he has very chance of getting past the winning line first. She has had a recent run that has got her into good shape for today and she has come on in leaps and bounds as a result. There are a few good races to day and there will be a lot of interest in the Cork International Airport Hotel Handicap Hurdle. Halla San may be a good prospect for this race after getting warmed on Monday but we prefer the Tony Martin/Ruby Walsh combination of the aptly named Dream Champion.

The final bumper of the Festival, the Montrose Hotel (Pro/Am) INH Flat Race, should go to Carl Llewellyn, who brings over the highly talented Frascati Park.
