Lewis Hamilton British Grand Prix Odds
The Lewis Hamilton British Grand Prix odds for this weeks British Grand prix betting F1 race has the top British driver at 9/2. It is obvious that Lewis will want to try and win his home Grand Prix but he comes into the race following a series of setbacks that has cost him vital Championship points. After leading the Championship, Lewis now finds himself in 4th spot behind the two Ferrari drivers, Kimi Raikkonen and Felipe Massa and is now also behind BMW's Robert Kubica. In his maiden British Grand prix last season, Lewis who had held pole position came home in third place, a position he would do well to emulate this week. Winning looks beyond him however this time, because as far as the cars go the race looks set up for Ferrari. Championship leader Massa will want to maintain his top spot but he can expect a serious challenge from team mate and World Champion, Kimi Raikkonen. If Massa does win then he could be hard for Lewis to catch unless Lewis can secure at least a podium finish.

Other Brits in the race are Jenson Button, who has a best of fourth in 2004 and was 5th in 2005. David Coulthard however, who is, by the way, the oldest driver this week at 37, was the last ‘Brit' to win in 1999 and 2000, when he, like Hamilton is now, was driving for McLaren. Unfortunately neither Button nor Coulthard have any chance this week unless all the other drivers crash out, so for British fans who will pack Silverstone at the weekend have only Hamilton to cheer.
Betting: Raikkonen 10/11, Massa 2/1, Hamilton 9/2, Kubica 16/1, 200/1 Bar.
