The Voice Betting

The Voice is one of the latest reality talent show competitions to hit our screens in the UK. The programme is scheduled to hit our screens for the first time in March 2012 on BBC1 and will be presented by Holly Willoughby and Reggie Yates. Producers no doubt see this competition as a rival to the ITV's X Factor, despite being aired at different times of the year.

The format has three stages, the blind audition, the battle phase and the live shows! There are four judges for the competition, all singers in their own right. Solo artist Jessie J, the legend that is Tom Jones, American rapper with the Black Eyed Peas Will I Am and The Script's frontman Danny O'Donaghue.

The blind audition sees the four judges pick their teams of contestants through a blind audition process. Each judge will pick a contestant for their team during their audition and if two or more judges go for the same contestant then it's up to that contestant to pick which judge they team up with.

The Battle Phase has two of the judges team members battling in a sing off against each other with the judge deciding which memeber goes through to the live final and the live final takes a similar format as the X Factor and other reality TV shows such as Strictly Come Dancing where the viewing public get the last say on who wins the competition.

There is betting already available on who will be the winning judge but as with any Specials markets there will be betting on who wins the competition once the contestants are known.
