The BBC reality show Strictly Come Dancing has become very popular with the viewing audience. Strictly Come Dancing is hosted by Bruce Forsyth and somehow manages to keep the show together and is ably supported by fellow co host Tess Daly.
The judges are made up of Len Goodman, Alesha Dixon, Bruno Tonioli and Craig Revel Horwood and these showbiz people get to sprout on about what the contestants should be doing to progress in the competition.
In all the competition starts with fourteen Strictly Come Dancing contestants and each week one of the pairs is knocked out, based on the judges views and votes and the public vote.
This show is aimed at rivalling the ITV hit the X Factor as it runs at the same time on Saturday evening and for those who can't get enough there is daily updates each weekday evening on BBC2.

Running concurrently with Strictly Come Dancing every year is the X Factor, providing the most keenly fought ratings war on television. The 2009 series dominated by Irish twins Jedward proved one of the most successful series so far. Tabloid cover of the twins Cowell had labelled as 'vile' at the ouset was huge, promoting not only the show but a host of betting related opportunities.
