Betting On Tonight's Big Brother Eviction

Regardless of the fact that the two megaliths of Reality TV are motoring along their popular superhighway, the not so new look Big Brother on Channel 5 whilst only receiving half the viewing figures that were enjoyed on its previous reincarnation, is still keeping the bookies like Paddy Power on their toes. Tonight is eviction night and whilst her name might suggest otherwise, Heaven could be heading for the hell of an eviction tonight although she stands at odds of 7/2 to go whilst Rebekah is favourite at 1/6.

Unusually there are only two possible options tonight, a bigger book means more fun and more options for the punter, but perhaps the battle tonight will not be as clear cut as expected. Tonight's two contenders are chalk and cheese in many ways, from their ethnicity to their occupations. Heaven markets herself as a holisitic healer, although her vigorous chanting last Friday with co housemate Tashie did not lengthen the belly dancer's stay in Elstree as anticipated and Rebekah is a Spearmint Rhino hostess aka lap dancer, but both share the ability to broadcast their feelings or attitudes without reservation.

Last week's nominees have clearly taken the decision to tow the BB line and have markedly chosen to stay away from controvery and the limelight, but the two central protagonists this week appear to have a devil may care attitude and have continued to bicker with each other without hesitation. There is no doubt that from the TV coverage both women have been shown to be particularly annoying, Heaven for inordinately ramming her alternative belief systems down everyone's throats doing a great disservice to complimentary therapists throughout the UK and Rebekah for doing a great disservice to the myth about blondes and showing housemate Aden to be rather a chump.

Whilst Aden is clearly overwhelmed by Rebekah and she may have hoped that the sniff of a romance would make voters keep her in the house, her continual lying and manipulation of Aden are irritating in a more sinister way than Jedward were in the BB house, so unlike them she is unlikely to be kept in for her entertainment value. Compere Brian Dowling who must have fulfilled a dream when taking over from Davina McCall to host the show in which he once participated must now be wondering if this step was career suicide rather than career building!
