Mercury Music Award Betting: The XX Favourite To Win

The short list for this year's coveted Mercury Music Award has been issued and in online bookmakers Paddy Powers' Mercury Music Award Betting, The XX are favourite to win.  The XX are a three piece band from London whose debut album 'xx' has received critical acclaim from the hallowed pages of music publications, Rolling Stone and NME.  The red-top story about  the list has to be the fact that lovers Laura Marling and Marcus Mumford compete for the £20,000 prize.
