Who Killed Archie Mitchell Odds - Tonight 8pm BBC1

Tonight's the night Archie Mitchell's killer is finally revealed.

In a live broadcast to celebrate twenty five years of Eastenders the BBC has created one of the most compelling soap storylines in years.

Clever script writing has ensured that everyone and no one could be the culprit. It has been reported that there are ten possible endings and those actors involved in the denoument will only know a few minutes before the live show airs. The biggest worry for the producers tonight is the possibility of snow, which in a live show may have some impact on proceedings.

Bookmakers William Hill must certainly have been convinced that there would be no leaks by offering a market for this particular bet. However Dot Cotton who has doggedly followed her Christian beliefs throughout the past twenty five years, even when so challenged by her vile son Nick is probably due a breakdown, and at 83 actress June Brown might find a dramatic retirement, at 100/1 why not?
