Big Brother Eviction Betting: John James 4/7 Favourite To Leave

The producers of Big Brother finally managed to pull a surprise out of the hat last week by calling a premature halt to the series and unveiling the 'Ultimate Big brother experience'. Housemates were visibly shocked that they had only eleven days left in the house and would no longer go through the nomination process, but would all be subject to the public vote. Bookmakers Paddy Power in their Big Brother Eviction Betting, somewhat surprisingly have John James as 4/7 favourite to be the next to leave.

Josie is no longer on this book, having won immunity and is certain of a place on the final night but as the current hot favourite to win the show it is unlikely that she would have been ousted anyway. It is a surprise that Australian John James is tipped to go next, having remained high in the public's esteem for most of the Summer. His plain talking has often created drama but generally by calling a spade a spade, he has been acknowledged as genuine and without any side.

John James' demise seems to stem from his outrage about Sam Pepper, who can only be described as one of BB's most irritating incumbents. Sam seems to have shot himself in the foot however, and having risen to the top of the table of favourites to win the show last week, he is now 3/1 to leave , just behind John James. For Sam to win the show after only a fortnight's stay seems impossible but he has certainly injected some energy and moments of real entertainment during his short stay.

According to Paddy Power, Steve and Dave are the next most vulnerable to leave, which in the case of the former seems entirely understandable. Whilst Steve's triumph over adversity is clear for all to see and deserves an award for this alone, his contribution to the entertainment value of the show has waned over the last fortnight and he has faded into the background.

Will the public decide to test Josie by evicting her main man, or will they be looking for a fairytale ending and keep John James in ? It certainly looks like the next interview with Davina McCall will be between the Jester and the Prince. As the show says," Who Goes? You Decide!".
