Straight Forecast Market For Strictly Come Dancing Betting

For those hooked on reality TV betting the markets are ebbing as the two giants Strictly and The X Factor come to an end, but apart from having a punt on the eventual winner in Blackpool on Saturday night, there is another option which is offered by bookmakers Paddy Power and that is the straight forecast for Strictly Come Dancing.

Topping this list at 4/9 is that Harry Judd will win and Chelsee will come second and at odds of 11/4 those fortunes are reversed. Whilst Jason Donovan popped into first place after the first week of the series and there is certainly no question about his drive, Harry and Chelsee seem to have a more natural disposition for this genre.

In their chosen professions all three competitors could be deemed performers. Judd’s time with pop band McFly certainly means he cannot be scared of a crowd but a drummer is not as much under the spotlight as is his footwork on the ballroom floor. Chelsee’s career as an actress in Holby City also means she is not averse to an audience but it is her obvious lack of awareness of her prowess in both Latin and ballroom dances that has really brought her so much support.

All three contestants are likeable, which is an essential ingredient for any reality TV winner, but perhaps Chelsee is the most transparent which will certainly help her cause. It is nip and tuck who will finally triumph and the dynamics of the show dance which occurs only in the final will also make all the difference. Whilst it appears that Jason is the outsider in this particular line up it is worth remembering that on Saturday he secured full marks of 40 out of 40 and will believe if he works hard enough he can do that again.

The judges, Bruno Tonioli, Len Goodman, Alesha Dixon and Craig Revel Horwood, will have no impact on the vote this weekend it is all decided by the public but they are sure to try and sway the proceedings with their critiques!
