The final of the first Uk series of the US import So You Think You Can Dance is aired tonight. Arlene has found a comfortable second home after Strictly and the less than charismatic Nigel Lythgoe has had a haircut and Paddy Power are ready with the Odds!
Whilst reasonably successful in the viewing figures it is hard to believe this would be the case if given any challenging competition from the other channels. Of the four remaining dancers Tommy is edging in front with a combination of Flair and precision and enthusiastic personality. As always with these shows remembering the make up of the audience is essential in chosing the winner. A largely female fanbase and a largely female vote usually bodes well for a male contender unless, as In Leona Lewis' case the skill is outstanding.
Alastair and Lizzie, as yet not mentioned would have to pull something very dazzling out of the bag to win, but fans loyalty tends to be set by this point in any series.
Arlene is sure to make sure the final doesn't pass without her presence being heard.
