X Factor Final Odds 2010: Huge Range Of Betting Markets Including Forecast And Tricast

The big TV event of the year comes to it's climax this weekend and for those who like to enhance the fun with a bet,  the 'X Factor Final Odds 2010', as supplied by online bookmakers Paddy Power, show a breadth and depth of markets which will interest a range of punters.  The show expects to draw as many as 20 million viewers for the final show, pushing advertising rates sky high to an incredible £300,000 for a 30 second advert and reaffirming it as ITV's biggest money making series. Of the 20 million watching only a percentage will pick up the phone and vote but those who do are expected to vote in multiples to ensure the success of their favourite.

Deciding on the winner is more difficult than it has been in the past with a more competitive line up than ever before.  Those viewers who have not voted so far this series are more likely to add to the tally on the final night, aware that their vote could indeed make a difference.  Teenage text fingers, as well as the power and influence of Simon Cowell, are expected to edge boyband One Direction to the winning post but with the flawless vocals of Matt Cardle and Rebecca Ferguson on show their older fans may just exercise their financial clout and ensure one of the soloists win.

Latest X Factor Odds Comparison From All The Leading Bookmakers

Mindful of the fact that there is no clear winner this year, as there has been before,Paddy Power have a huge range of betting markets to fit every need.  Whilst in the Outright Winner Market Matt Cardle is favourite to win at 5/6 followed closely by One Direction at 5/2 and Rebecca Ferguson at 11/4, the prices are so close that the Finishing Order Tricast and Forecast markets offer some real opportunities. One Direction/Matt/Rebecca at 9/1 offers real value as does One Direction/Matt at 5/1.

The outcome clearly depends not only on their performances so far but also their ability to deliver on the night and overcome any nerves, which in such a huge arena are to be expected.  The first part of the final procedure involves each act performing a duet with an established star which could also make a huge difference to their eventual positions. Favourite Matt will sing with Rihanna, Rebecca with Christina Aguilera, Cher with Will.i.am and One Direction with Robbie Williams.  The outcome could certainly pivot on the last coupling.  Given the enormous affection with which Robbie is held nationwide a successful duet with One Direction could easily rubber stamp their success with the former Take That's apparent endorsement.  It is however worth remembering that Robbie's own performances on the X Factor have not always been proficient, in fact on one occassion he performed so badly that his whole career was in question.

Cheryl Cole will be hoping to secure a hat trick of wins as judge, Dannii will be eager to push her colleague into second place, Louis Walsh will be wondering if the Wagner comedy was really worthwhile and Simon Cowell will be as smug as a bug in his thick financial rug laughing all the way to the bank.
