Although scoring her highest points in the series and iincorporating an impressive helicopter manoeuvre actress Emily Atack was voted off the show on Sunday after a 'Skate Off' with Daniella Westerbrook. There was some contention with the judges' decision because Emily actually performed better in the 'Skate Off ', but the prevailing sentiment was that in general Daniella had clearly been the better skater overall during the series.
Whilst Daniella came third in the original points chart it seems that bookmakers Paddy Power do not think she can win, which may be a sound understanding after finding herself in the bottom two her position when the public vote had been factored in on Sunday. Clearly she is not seen to have popular support.

Hayley Tamaddon continues to dominate the competition and any bets on Top Female should certainly be seriously considered even if she is unable to win the whole show. Gary is clearly the more accomplished skater, but as in all these Reality TV shows, personality and fantasy play as much of a part in voter's choices than skill. Danny Young, who finally scored a handsome 22 points after struggling to get more than 17 throughout the series and was three places above Mikey is nevertheless regarded as the one most likely to be eliminated next.
The stakes get higher as the weeks pass and the technical demands are more severe, an appreciative audience may relent in the end and vote for the bravest rather than their favourite personality in which case, Hayley looks likely to win, with Gary a close second.
