Judd Trump tipped to continue fine form and win China Open

Judd Trump was a fine winner of the China Open last year, and fresh from a victory in the Players Championship the Bristol potter will be the one to beat when he aims to retain his China crown, as yet again a star-studded field do battle for the valuable snooker title, which kicks off on March 27, and concludes on April 2.

Tips Judd Trump to win    Best Bet @ 6 / 1

Trump The Solid Bet For China Glory

A battling 10-8 win over Marco Fu in the Players Championship saw Judd Trump land another notable tournament victory, and having beaten Ronnie O'Sullivan in the quarter-finals of that event then it's no surprise to see Trump as a best-priced 6/1 chance for the China Open with bet365, and he has to stand a great chance.

An easy 10-4 winner over Ricky Walden in last year's event, Trump is hitting form at a crucial stage of the season with the World Championships fast approaching, and if he can continue to shine on the baize then has to be a cracking bet to record back-to-back titles.

O'Sullivan Struggling, As Selby Looks Main Danger

Ronnie O'Sullivan is sure to produce his best performance at next month's World Championships at the Crucible, but the finest player to pick up a cue has struggled for consistency of late, and while the 9/2 with Paddy Power may appeal to those looking to back the multiple world champion, his inconsistency of late could see him vulnerable in the early rounds.

Conversely, Mark Selby is as solid as they come, and he beat Gary Wilson 10-2 in the 2015 China Open, and the Jester from Leicester could prove to be Trump's biggest danger, and the 5/1 shot with Betfred has to be given the utmost respect for what should be a cracking event over the coming weeks.

Ding Could Be Best Of The Rest

Ding Junhui was beaten by Marco Fu in their semi-final clash in the Players Championship, but the former has been in decent form this season and at 12/1 with Betfred looks to have the capabilities of making it a long way in this tournament, while you can never write off the chances of the likes of John Higgins (11/1) and Shaun Murphy (18/1), who can perform to a high standard when tested.

Of the others, Ali Carter (50/1) played some decent snooker in the Players Championship and could be a value outsider to follow, while Joe Perry at 40/1 with Sky Bet is another that can make it to the latter part of the event, but Trump is the man to side with to record another tournament success.
